Team Dynamics had a very successful National Championships with all riders placing better than previous nationals. Neil Price (Beta Evo 290) finished 2nd behind Kiwi rider Jake Whittaker (Beta) to finish the best Australian and claiming the number 1 status in Australia. The slippery conditions at the Mount Tamborine Thunderbird Park venue had the riders on edge throughout the two day comp. Neil put in consistent laps to secure his position, lap two, day one being his worst lap. Whilst Neil didn't win the Australian Championships he is happy to be Number 1 in Australia.

The Aus Champs are behind us, so come along to the Avenel site for the Trials Victoria Interclub Challenge event for some challenging sections, light banter and major controversies!

The Motorcycling Queensland Moto-Trials Subcommittee is busily putting the final touches together for this Saturday’s Queensland Arena Trials event at the Gold Coast’s Carrara Stadium.

Proudly sponsored by Sherco Motorcycles, the event will see 18 of the best Moto-Trials riders in the Southern Hemisphere do battle over a variety of man made ‘sections’, consisting of massive concrete pipes, shipping containers, huge logs and a tyre section just to name a few.

Fox Motorex Gas Gas mounted Kevin Zarczynski finished a battling seventh place overall in this years Australian Trials championships held at Tamborine Mountain near the Gold Coast.

Thunderbird Park was the venue for the two-day championship, with the course set in the flowing rocky river that runs through the property. The solo riders would face two laps of 15 sections each day, the first day having 12 sections in the river, and the second day 11 watery hazards.

New Zealand local Jake Whitaker has taken out the 2010 Australian Moto Trials Championship at Thunderbird Park – Mount Tamborine, on Sunday 22 August.

Overcoming challenges from some of Australia’s best riders including; Brisbane local Boyd Willcocks, West Australian Neil Price, and reigning Champ Colin Zarczynski, the 19 year-old put in a solid effort, keeping his points low enough to take the win.

Speaking at the end of the day the Kiwi, and reigning (and three-times) New Zealand Moto Trials Champion, was thrilled to take out the Aussie Title on his fourth attempt.

“It’s a bloody good feeling!” Whitaker said.

“I’ve wanted this title for about four years now so it’s a really good feeling.

“I had a stunning first lap on Sunday, scoring only four points - I felt way more comfortable on the bike than I did on Saturday, and I really enjoyed it out there.

“I’ll now go finish the New South Wales Series, there are a few more rounds of that, and I’d like to do another stint in Europe however it all depends on sponsorship!”
