At the recent MWA Night of Champions it was announced that Pathfinders Trials MCC (Inc) had won the prestigious Motorcycling WA Club of the Year for 2012.

Simon Price and Leo Nolan (both Life Members) accepted the trophy and while thanking MWA for this honour; both said it was reward for the hard work of the Club Committee in ensuring Pathfinders always operated within the rules and administrative guidelines. The award was presented by Rick Gill – MWA Executive Director – as the finale of the night and he praised the Club as “one of the quiet achievers who just get on with the job”.

The award is based on the Club’s performance over the last year against criteria such as compliance with competition permits, event reporting, financial management and membership communication.

Leo Nolan was also honoured on the night receiving a MWA Achievement Certificate for his dedication and hard work in the organisation of this year’s Smarter than Smoking Australian Moto Trials Championships in Pinjarra, and his ongoing role as a MWA Official.
