translated via google it seems to say they are in liquidation and the only part that has survived is a newly formed electric vehicle off-shoot.

REMINDER
The manufacturer of motorcycles trial was placed under court's announcement of the liquidation of the manufacturer Scorpa trial motorcycle company showcase Pole mécanique d'Alès, is the first big failure of the industrial and leisure launched by the Mayor of 'Max Roustan Alès (Midi Libre yesterday). We understand better now why his chief of staff, Christophe Rivenq is more soul. "It's a beautiful mess" breath he says.
To accompany the growth Scorpa, new workshops were built at the entrance to the Pole by agglo. Moreover, the latter had made a financial charges and rental of premises. But it was not enough, as indicated by Christophe Rivenq that refuses to put the problems on Scorpa
the back of the current economic crisis and disengagement of the banks. "There was a priori management problems. City, agglo and direction of the mechanical center gave so much of technical aids, financial and logistical Scorpa to save but it was not enough. "The director of the mechanical center, Laurent Corric, Scorpa former employee," says his side's disappointment. "It's been several months that we are aware of the difficulties Scorpa. I'm feeling sick for the 23 employees who are conscientious, real hard worker. Until then, businesses in the center is doing well in the context of crisis. However, it is not completely the end of the center Scorpa mechanics since one of its subsidiaries has taken on 1 July in a workshop of 250 m², sur le site du Vallon de Fontanes. Scorpa Electric Vehicles purchased by investors, will develop models of two-wheeler running with new energy, including electricity.
Production should begin soon. As for the large room occupied by Scorpa should find buyer in a few months, once the liquidator has closed this case.

... sad reflection on the state of business over here in Europe, the banks are not willing to prop up companies at the moment unless they can see for sure that they are totally safe.
Scorpa may not be the only casualty in the trials world by the time it is all over... any business with large borrowing is vulnerable.

Would be interesting to see if Scorpa electric vehicle side come out with a full size trials bike... seems to be where the future is heading.

interesting indeed...

Doesn't surprise me though.. with much stronger businesses going down at the moment, the small support the trials world has in comparison can't help in times like these!

Electric Scorpa hey.. don't know whether I'd be keen to swap it for the fuel just yet!

What a shame.
They were really on a winner with the T-Ride too.
