Brass Monkey Trial

Postby Trango » Mon May 05, 2014 1:50 pm

I would like to pass on my congratulations to Richard Kent and the Logan River club for the stanthorpe trial yesterday. Organising an event a long way from home is never an easy venture but the club pulled it off to admirably. It was a well run trial and first rate sections set on and around the large rock formations that make the granite belt famous. Knowing the extreme cold that can be experienced in the region I joked before the trial that it could have been named the Brass Monkey Trial. It never got to that stage luckily with the overcast conditions keeping the overnight temperature at a reasonable level. Thanks to everyone involved.
