Stolen Yamaha TY 175C

Postby Twinshock » Mon Mar 19, 2007 11:52 am

TY 175 C model Orange tank and side panels was stolen from my garage at Scarborough, Queensland on the night of Thursday 15th March.

Engine / Frame number 525-106392

Distinguishing Features.
It had a new enduro front tyre on it and the white front mudguard was mounted directly under the lower fork yoke, ie. motocross style.

Anybody hears or sees anything please let me know on my mobile phone 0418 354023 or Redcliffe Police 07 3283 0555

Many thanks
Roger Galpin :(

This is the second stolen trials bike I have read about on TA in 3 years.

It's proves that some people will steal something without logic or need. They just do it for the thrill. And total lack of any concern for anyone but themselves.

Best of balance.

Stolen TY 175

Postby Twinshock » Mon Mar 26, 2007 9:36 am

Thanks for your comments guys, I think you might be right about the mistake because of the hi front mudguard making it look like an MX bike.
When some drug ridden pimply youth opens the throttle he'll know he made the mistake.
The point is that it was a good original TY that was going to make me a smart little twinshock bike and nobody has the right to steal it. I found out yesterday that he also took my red jerry can with fuel in it, so not only did I supply the bike I'm also running it for them !!!

sorry to hear about this but you guys should know, anyone would steal anything,a young kid would even steal bubble gum from a supermarket,so someone would steal a trials bike, maybe for there own enjoyment or even for a few bux, theses things happen,iv had a fair bit stolen from me,theres not much you can do about it :(
