Doug,

This is what it says in the Mont/Honda manual.

<< When riding a new motorcycle, operate the motorcycle for the first 20
minutes using not more than half (1/2) throttle and shifting the gears so the
engine does not lug.
Next 20 minutes using not more than three quarter (3/4) throttle and shifting
gears so the engine does not lug.
* When refueling, be sure to use a premixed gasoline oil mixture. (Ha!)
*Raise the main jet # by 2 ranks to enrich the mixture during breaking in the
motorcycle.>>

I took it easier than this on mine, maybe double the time? I always cringe
when someone takes a new bike out of the crate and cranks it WFO after the
first few minutes.
