Bill:

The adjustment that you're speaking of is the clutch push rod adjustment. This allows us to adjust the push rod length to take full advantage of the master cylinder's movement from the hydraulic system.

To adjust this, you remove the small cover covering the clutch. In the center of the clutch pressure plate, you will find a nut and stud; hold the stud with a screwdriver and loosen the nut. Back the stud out to make sure there is free-play; turn the stud in until you feel it touch the clutch push rods. Then back the stud out 1/4 to 3/8 of a turn. Tighten the lock nut and you are done.

One thing to watch: When turning the stud in to make contact with the push rods, make sure that the nut is backed off enough that it doesn't contact the pressure plate and confuse the feel.
