Any one bead blasting their plugs should carefully inspect the plugs under a
magnifier (10x works well). After blasting plugs with fine beads and then cleaning
them both with compressed air and in an ultrasonic cleaner, I have still found beads
jammed into various internal crannies. Repeated cleaning did not remove them. But,
I'm afraid that they might dislodge during operation. Maybe 3 or 4 small glass beads
going through the engine occasionally would not cause significant damage, but I have
decided not to risk it.
By the way, Chris there are many of us out here that read your posts and rarely reply.
I just want to say we appreciate your time.
